What a patent attorney is
A patent attorney is a specialist who has passed the qualification exam and is registered with Rospatent (Federal Law No. 316-FZ). Only through a patent attorney can foreign companies and citizens permanently residing abroad conduct their affairs with Rospatent (Russian Civil Code, Art. 1247(2)).
